This article explains how to prepare your VR devices for FLO, and the installation steps to get the FLO VR application up and running.
If you have been supplied with VR hardware as part of our Learning Grant, the FLO VR application comes pre-installed on the device(s) provided.
Updating FLO VR App
We update the FLO VR application remotely and any new updates will install to your device automatically ensuring that The VR headset is:
switched on
connected to the internet
We recommend that you check for new application updates prior to hosting all VR sessions.
There may be an additional asset download after launching the FLO application.
Manually Installing FLO VR App
Step 1: Set up your device
FLO is designed to be used with Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3 Virtual Reality headsets.
Please refer to the VR headset manufacturer’s instructions to set up your VR headset.
Step 2: Download the FLO VR App
FLO’s learning content is delivered as a .apk
app that needs to be downloaded and installed on your supported device(s).
