Launching the App

Important note: The Care Reality app supports hand tracking only. We recommend that you experience some of the included tutorial content, provided by Meta, to familiarise yourself with hand tracking and hand interactions before using the Care Reality app.

The Care Reality app is accessed through the ‘For Work’ section of the App Library.

To navigate here, first open the App Library. Select the dropdown at the top right that says ‘All’ and choose ‘For Work’. You should now see the Care Reality app. Select the app listing to launch it.

Logging In

Important note: An active Wi-Fi connection is required when using the Care Reality app. This is to allow you to login, retrieve and record analytics, and check for content updates within the app. Please ensure your Wi-Fi connection is setup through the Quest’s Quick Settings menu.

When the app has launched, you will be prompted to login. Your login credentials are the same as the details that you have set up for your FLO account. If you have not yet set up your FLO account, you will not be able to login to the Care Reality app.

To enter your details, first select the Email input field. The Quest’s system keyboard will appear, allowing you to enter your email to the email input field. Repeat this process for the Password input field. Finally, press the Login button.

Starting a Lesson

To start a lesson, select the ‘Lessons’ option from the main menu’s navigation bar.

You will see the different Learning Programmes available in the Care Reality app: Infection Prevention and Control, and Health and Social Care.

Select the Learning Programme you’d like to start a lesson from and press the ‘View Lessons’ button. This will show you all available Lessons within this Learning Programme.

When you see the Lesson you want to start, select it and click the ‘Start Lesson’ button.
