Plan Ahead

If you are supporting learners through their sessions, it is important that you are familiar with the lesson content yourselfplan ahead to be appropriately prepared for your session(s).

Access FLO

First of all, you should have been invited to FLO by your Company Admin and you have verified your account. Once you have verified your account, you can access the FLO LMS & VR App.

Familiarise Yourself

We recommend that you are fully adept at navigating the headset’s interfaces & menus just in case you need to talk a learner through anything.

We recommend that you also complete the planned lesson content yourself and refer to our teaching materials which can be found on our Learning Management System before the session takes place.

Prepare the Space

Wherever you are conducting the sessions, it is best to prepare the room ahead of time if you can. This includes:

• Clear floor space

  • If needed, move unneeded tables/desks and chairs to one side or out of the room.

  • be Be mindful that you are still providing enough space for waiting participants to be seated away from active participants.

• Segment your available space

  • We place each headset on chairs which are spaced evenly around the room allowing a minimum area of 2m² for each participant.

  • try Try to leave a buffer zone between each play area if you can avoiding walls, desks & people.

Prepare the Hardware

Well before the session is due to take place, make sure your headsets are clean and fully charged & you have free access to an electrical outlet if you need to top up the battery charge between sessions.

We also recommend ensuring that the device is connected to the Wi-Fi network and you have run and logged into our Care Reality VR app to complete any pending updates.
